A standalone guitar amp and effects pedal has been built using the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-AMOLED-2.06, which can run full-size Neural Amp Modeler A2 captures in real-time and drive a class-compliant USB audio interface. The device features a touchscreen UI and can be controlled via a footswitch when used with a bare ESP32-S3 module. Notably, the same firmware can be compiled to WebAssembly, allowing users to try it out in their browser without any hardware requirements. The device's performance has been measured, showing efficient use of the ESP32-S3's processing power, and it can be configured via a maintenance API when used without a screen.
